here's a playblast of some mechanical rigging. i did a short animation of these in that space scene below, but didn't like it too much. they just look silly without characters on them and i was basically just playing with snap-zoom camera animation and motion vector rendering. it did refresh an old idea i had though, so i'll probably start that up soon.

so i did a stereoscopic project a little while back and i realized it's pretty easy to set up, just not that easy to project without spending a lot of money on special equipment. then i found 3d glasses mall and bought a handful of anaglyph glasses so that i could do this...

it's a little strong, but still pretty cool so expect second anaglyph versions of future projects from now on. if you don't have anaglyph glasses they're less than a dollar at that site and they send them in a couple of days and they're super fun.

i've got to fix some scale issues, do more modeling and crank up the fps before this one is going to be ready, plus i gotta break more stuff. =D (car models aren't mine, neither is the naked guy.)

quick glass breaking test that seemed to work fairly well. did a second test with more geometry that didn't work so well and refuses to upload, so i'll have to re-evaluate how i'm going to break the glass in this scene.

a roughly built airplane interior and some texure play i had begun for a project. the section using this model was cut so i scrapped it for the time being, but will most likely finish it off soon. the seat cushion texture still looks more like plastic than fabric to me.
